  • Mood: Pirate
  • Reading: "The Lost Slayer"
  • Watching: FortySomething
  • Drinking: Water
Since I have nothing to add here except that I'm browsing through more photos here on DA, I'll make this very short.

:bulletblack: First off, my new webcam is by a wonderful photographer named Ted. He's Greg Yaitanes' (director/producer of "House") assistant. The photo is of Greg's hands holding the call sheet from episode 6.07 "Known Unknowns." We all know who the people in the background are so no need to go into that. :XD: OH! If you are on Twitter, go follow him! Search @YoTeddy.

:bulletblack: Second, I hardly ever do features. Well, I did one. For :icondestiny78: who is my best mate. So this will be my second, again for another good friend (though I haven't seen her in ages!) :iconfarinspireddesigns: She has incredibly beautiful photos and graphics.
I've seen some of her other photos on another site so I hope she posts more here. =D

:bulletblack: Thirdly, I really love black and white. :typerhappy:

:bulletblack: And last, since you guys made me laugh, I love whoever chose "Luddy" Seriously Alex? WTF?" My friends, I fear we are stuck with Lucas for a while. House should tell him Cameron's single now...

It has been a looooong time since you faved and I never properly thanked you, so I humbly extend my appreciation for you adding my Karloff Bride of Frankenstein portrait to your favorites.

I'm kind of a House fan too, though not nearly as much as you! I think Hugh Laurie is brilliant.

It is all my pleasure. I believe there is too little art concerning Karloff and other great actors of that era. They are true horror stars (instead of the junk you see today). Also, your portrait is a magnificent choice for a first post. :)

I am a fanatic. =D I agree Laurie is brilliant. He is very versatile and I'm glad that they are stretching that to the limit this season.

I think there are a handful of folks that could be considered icons in horror movies today, but they are very few. Jeffrey Combs comes to mind. Regardless, I'm not sure that anyone could hold a candle to Karloff, then or now; he was one of a kind. When he howls at Igor's death in Son of Frankenstein, I thought it to be one of the most poignant moments in all the Frankenstein movies and a showcase of his great talent.

OH! Jeffrey Combs is a good example. One of his recent movies, ';Parasomnia,' was very good. I can't wait to see 'House of Re-Animator' next year.

Karloff is a Legend. :) There's no greater status in film history.
