I love this weather. I could do without the tornado warnings though. Sounds incredibly odd for Los Angeles to have tornado warnings, but there you go. Tomorrow if weather permitting, I'll be back on my way to Las Vegas again. This time I'll have more time to browse the Strip, take photos of all the beautiful and garish neon lights, and do a little celebrity scouting. Mandalay Bay. Look at the journal before this one if you've no clue what I'm referring to. It's House related. =D

Weather like this makes me so nostalgic. It makes me think of running in the rain down St. Martin's making bloody sure I made curtain call. Vanessa Redgrave was on stage and there was no way I was going to miss that. It makes me think of being curled up in small planes, gazing over the clouds underneath, holding onto the hand-rest because the lightening made me nervous. Oh, and dropping a foot out of the sky contributed, also. I remember drinking long island iced teas in Atlanta, watching the drizzle through the giant windows while waiting for a plane back to California. For my fellow Harry Potter nerds, I was flying from the epic party that was Terminus in Chicago. Thinking about that same flight and seeing the final David Tennant episodes made me re-watch all of Doctor Who. I was flying with a friend who was and still is a fanatic. He couldn't believe I had never watched an episode. So he brings up an episode that he thought would appeal to the horror enthusiast in me. "Blink" was the first episode I saw. Excellent choice on his part. So slowly I went through the whole series.

Funnily enough, it was with the same friend that I saw the last episodes. It was 3 am in a lovely room at the Golden Nugget hotel. I had been asleep since 1 am but woke up. I feel for the people in the next rooms. Shouts of "No!" and "It can't be!" and a lot of laughter was heard. Our friends in the next bed laughed at us and scolded us several times for being too loud. The ending was incredibly sad though we spazzed when Capitan Jack opened that note with His name is Alonso written  in the Doctor's messy scrawl. Tennant's last line ("I don't want to go...") was when the lump in my throat finally dislodged. I seriously don't know how Matt Smith is going to fill the iconic role that Tennant developed.

Such good times. I can't wait for more.

They showed Tennant's last line on the National TV awards on Wednesday night and I nearly started off again :'[

Its ridiculous how attatched to a character I have become, Ten was definately my doctor.

As for Las Vegas, have a great time and hope you spy lots of attractive celebs!
